Coach Kendall began her swimming career at the age of 7 for the very team you are now swimming for, the BSTC Sharks! Her time with the Sharks spanned 9 years, after which she decided to join a year round club in Boulder, RACE, where she competed for the duration of her high school career. She swam for Broomfield High School as well, named on both the All-Conference and All-State teams all four years, as well as being part of the medley relay team that won a 4A State Championship and set a 4A State record with an All-American Consideration time. She then swam for Division II Colorado Mesa University where she trained sprint freestyle and breaststroke, and her last season with them they placed their highest at their conference championships, with a second place. Her senior year, Kendall decided to take a step back from training competitively herself, and took her first step into coaching at a High School level. In Grand Junction, Kendall was assistant coach for the Fruita Monument HS girls swim and dive team, and the District 51 boys swim and dive team. Graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science in May, Kendall has since returned to the area, and now coaches for the Broomfield HS Eagles assisting Emily Austin, who coached Kendall during her time on the Sharks and at Broomfield High! This will be Coach Kendall’s fourth summer coaching for the Sharks, and she is very enthusiastic to come full circle with her swim career, and serve as the Head Coach this season!
